Gauradaha, June 28, 2024 – The first anniversary of Muscle Workshop was marked with a grand powerlifting and pull-up competition, organized by Muscle Workshop and Sarathi Yuwa Club, Gauradaha. The event, held with the aim of promoting fitness and raising awareness about drug addiction, saw enthusiastic participation from both male and female athletes.
The celebration began with a vibrant bike rally that started from Dipuchowk and passed through Krishi Bajar, Gauradaha Futsal, Petrol Pump, and back to Dipuchowk. Participants carried various anti-drug pamphlets, spreading the message of a drug-free community.

The event was graced by Chief Guest Dil Bahadur Khatri, a former national volleyball player, who emphasized the importance of regular exercise for a healthy lifestyle. “Physical fitness is essential not just for athletes, but for everyone. Regular exercise can transform lives and build a stronger, healthier community,” he said.
Pramod Regmi, the in-charge of Gauradaha Police Station, addressed the audience on the pressing issue of drug addiction. “Drug addiction is becoming a significant problem in our society. It’s imperative that we all work together to combat this menace. Awareness and community involvement are key to eradicating this issue,” Regmi stressed.
Montosh Bimali, Vice Chairman of Sarathi Yuwa Club, and Binita Adhikari Katwal, deputy Secretary of the club, also spoke at the event. They highlighted the role of exercise in preventing drug addiction and encouraged the community to stay active and healthy.
The program, coordinated with the support of Gauradaha Police, aimed to foster a sense of community and collective responsibility towards fighting drug addiction while promoting the benefits of physical fitness. The successful execution of the event underlined the importance of such initiatives in building a healthier and more aware society.
